The Brisco Accounting Programs have the same user friendly features as the Brisco Beef Herd Management Programs.
FEATURES OF THE ACCOUNTING PROGRAMS:
- Allows up to 9 different enterprises to be handled under the same program.
- Journal Entry driven - All changes to accounts can be traced to Journal Entries.
- Will not allow unbalance journal entries.
- Allows correction of individual journal entry.
- Journal entries are recorded in files identified by the month and year - entries can be made in months and years even after new month(s) has been started.
- Past year's entries are available for correction, viewing & report comparisons at all times.
- Alpha-Numeric codes for accounts - more flexible than numeric only - allows codes to reflect account name and more possibilities for entering new account between two adjoining accounts, eg. beween 2001 and 2002 can be entered 2001A.
- Address program that identifes names with account numbers. Allows searches and prints mailing lists selected customer codes and/or postal codes .
- Current accounts are identified by the address program number. All current accounts with credit balances automatically become accounts receivable and all current accounts with debit balances become accounts payable.
- Cheque writing capability with automatic creation of journal entry and posting to appropriate accounts.
The program is marketed in 3 version depending on the complexity of the accounting needs of the customer.
A - BASIC ACCOUNTING - a basic accounting package suitable for most farm opperations - capable of producing simple invoice with automatic posting to accounts. Automatic GST postings and reports.
B - SALES ACCOUNTING - allows product identification and tracking, produces Sales Invoices and Purchase Invoices with automatic point of sale inventory adjustments - automatic interest/service charges routine - monthly customer and salesmen statements.
C - FOREST INDUSTRY PACKAGE - as above plus calculates boad feet of product by dimensions and produces specialized Lumber Purchased, Lumber Sales & Planing Charges Invoices. Totals Board feet of lumber purchased and sold. Produces ILMA report calculations.
